Following the resignation of Libby Oliver, the vice-principal deemed responsible for the December data breach at Missoula's Hellgate High School, a new administrative team has been appointed.

Superintendent of Missoula County Public Schools Mark Thane announced on Friday that Libby Oliver, the Hellgate assistant principal responsible for a major data breach, has officially submitted her resignation.

Human error has been blamed for a data breach that occurred earlier this month at Missoula's Hellgate High School.

Human error was ultimately responsible for the data breach at Hellgate High School on December 4.

MCPS Superintendent Mark Thane faced a small group of reporters and at least one Hellgate High School parent Tuesday afternoon and addressed the data breach that occurred last Friday.

The Chief Product Officer of the U.S. Green Building Council, Scott Horst, will visit Hellgate High School on Tuesday to meet with students and school officials over ways to make the school more energy efficient should the anticipated bond issue pass.

Representatives from schools, businesses and government all met on the top floor of the First Interstate Bank building Tuesday for the official launch of the Hellgate High School Finance Academy.

Tuesday afternoon, Lt. Governor Angela McLean presented a group of Hellgate High School students with a certificate of achievement, a banner and a check for $1,000 to help in their recycling efforts at the school.

Today, Dr. Alex Apostle informed staff, students and parents of Sentinel High School of his decision to formally appoint Ted Fuller as Principal, and Margo Duneman as Assistant Principal, joining Brian Fortmann, who is currently serving as Assistant Principal.

In September, Missoula Community Medical Center entered into an agreement to be sold to Billings Clinic Regional Care Hospital.
