A blanket of heavy, wet snow covers Missoula on Veteran's Day morning, with the National Weather Service predicting up to a foot possible in the south side by 6:00 a.m.

A Missoula man has been charged with felony animal cruelty for killing and mutilating cats and kittens and sending photos to relatives. Frank Rodriguez is in the Missoula County Jail.

COVID Incident Commander Cindy Farr said Missoula's hospitals are currently keeping up with increasing COVID patients by delaying elective surgeries.

Snow ending at about 6:00 a.m. with heavy accumulations. A 60 percent chance or more light snow with highs in the low 30's.
