At around 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, March 28, Missoula Police responded to the 911 call of a woman who claimed that a man had hit her apartment vehicle with his car.

"A woman reported that a male, whom she had an order of protection against, was sitting outside of her house, and, according to her, was intoxicated," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "He rammed his car into the apartment complex where she lived, then he left the scene, and crashed into two parked cars near the intersection of Toole Avenue and Waverly Street."

Police arrested 46-year-old William Joseph Massengale, shortly after the second crash. During the spree, Massengale racked up a number of charges.

[Massengale] was arrested and charged with several crimes, including criminal endangerment, criminal mischief as well as violating the original order of protection," Welsh said. "It looks like he has at least eight charges."

According to Welsh, the car ramming into the apartment appeared to be intentional. It does not appear that anyone other than Massengale was injured during the incident.
