Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On December 5, 2024, a Missoula Police Department Officer was dispatched to the area of the Stone Creek Lodge. The reporting party was a hotel employee who requested that law enforcement respond and remove two individuals. The two individuals were later identified as 44-year-old Shana Lincoln and 59-year-old Michael Condo.

The officer arrived and located the two near a vehicle. The officer informed Condo why he was there and requested ID. Condo told the officer that it was in the vehicle. While the Condo was retrieving his wallet, the officer heard something drop to the ground and saw a syringe loaded with a crystalline substance. The officer instructed Condo to turn around and detained him in handcuffs.

According to court documents, Condo told the officer that the syringe contained methamphetamine, which he purchased from someone near the Poverello Center. Condo also gave the officer verbal consent to search the van. Condo told the officer that everything in the van was his, except for Lincoln’s purse and backpack.

Lincoln also gave the officer consent to search her belongings. During the search, the officer found several used syringes mixed with other trash. In the glove box, he saw a digital scale with residue on it.

In the back area of the van, he located a gray backpack next to a brown purse. The items were located directly behind the driver's seat where Lincoln said her belongings were. It was also the same area where the officer saw Lincoln seated in the van. Inside the purse was a glass pipe wrapped in paper. The officer also discovered two plastic baggies in the purse that contained methamphetamine.

Then the officer continued his search of the back of the van. He discovered two more loaded syringes, another pipe, unused syringes, and a plastic tube that contained methamphetamine.

Condo and Lincoln were both transported to the Missoula County Detention Facility. Then the officer traveled to the Missoula Police Department to process and photograph the evidence that was collected. In total, the officer collected nine syringes, six unused syringes, and three loaded syringes.

Both Condo and Lincoln are currently being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
