Stevensville High School Student Arrested after Threat
A Stevensville High School student has been arrested by police after a threat was made to other students. The individual has been charged with intimidation.

January 28, 2019
On the evening of January 28, Stevensville Police Department received information that an individual student conveyed a threat upon other students at Stevensville High School.
The incident was promptly investigated by School Resource Officer Kevin Oberhofer and Chief James Marble of the Stevensville Police Department.
Authorities arrested and charged the student who had conveyed the threat with intimidation.
The Stevensville Police Department maintained close contact with Stevensville School Officials throughout the investigation and both entities remain committed to the safety of all students, staff and faculty.
The school resource officer will be available at the school throughout the week and students and parents should feel free to contact law enforcement and school administration if they have questions or concerns. Officials are confident that this incident has been contained and state that classes will take place as scheduled under a normal school day.

This report follows similar incidents that have occurred in Ravalli County over the past two weeks, both at Florence Carlton and at Lone Rock School.
