Sen. Steve Daines, Montana Gov. Steve Bullock Rally in Support of LWCF Re-authorization

Sen. Steve Daines rallied other senators on Wednesday in support for the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which looks at increasing public access on public land. 

"I hope that the momentum we're seeing here in the state senate will lead the House to prioritize LWCF re-authorization in the near future," Daines said. "It is vital that we permanently reauthorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund and do no let authorization lapse. We need to get the re-authorization to pass."

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock responded as well, saying “Montanans demand more from Washington. Congress must stop the political games and quickly reauthorize the LWCF.”
