Representative Steve Daines is holding a week-long tour across the state to showcase Montana’s agriculture industry and highlight its importance to the state’s economy.

Daines is traveling tomorrow to Townsend to tour the Dusty Hahn Ranch. Daines will also hold a meeting in Helena with area farmers and ranchers, local elected officials, and representatives from Montana ag organizations to discuss issues facing Montana’s ag industry.

“Agriculture has really become a high-tech business in Montana,” Daines said. “We've made so much progress here in better farming and ranching techniques. And I hope I get updates on what they're learning here.”

On Friday, Daines will continue onto Power and Great Falls.
