The Western Montana Fish and Game Association, a 100 year-old sportsmen's organization, is conducting a public sight-in day at their Deer Creek Shooting Club, this Sunday.

The Deer Creek Shooting club is one of the most well-developed shooting facilities in the Northwest, and is located along Deer Creek Road just south of the Montana Rail Link tracks.

WMFGA President Jim McDonald says the public sight-in day is intended for hunters to get tuned up and checked out prior to the opening of general big-game hunting season.

Thos who attend must bring their own rifle, ammunition, eye and ear protection.

The event is from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 7th, and is free to the public.
