October Ends with the Halloween Tradition of Trick or Treating – Gas Treats Extend Through November
There’s good news for Montanans heading to the gas pump this week…Petroleum Analyst Will Spear said gas prices continue to fall across the state.
"Right now the average price for gasoline is about $2.36. That's down nearly five cents from last week," Spear said. "It's been a little bit larger of a drop than normal, but compared to the rest of the United States, maybe slightly less of a drop."
Spear said prices are 87.2 cents per gallon lower than one year ago and are 16.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
"The average across the United States is about $2.20, so still on the upper side of that," Spear said. "But with prices falling as fast as they are, it looks like they're trying to catch the national average, which is always a good thing."
Spear said gas prices going into November will continue to slide, which makes for a great start to the holiday season.
