Just before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, August 8, Missoula Police were called out to an apartment complex over reported drug activity in the area.

"Officers responded to a report of drug activity at an apartment building in the 1500 block of Earnest Avenue, when they arrived they made contact at one of the apartments with two persons, one of whom was Identified as 23-year-old Kyle Flink," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "Mr. Flink was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was placed under arrest."

When police investigated further they found a lot more than just paraphernalia.

"It was later determined that he had also in his possession a bicycle that had previously been reported stolen as as well as a small amount of methamphetamine," Welsh said.

Flink is now facing two felony charges: one for possession of methamphetamine and one for the theft of the bicycle as well as a misdemeanor charge for the drug paraphernalia. The bicycle theft is being treated as a felony because the bike is valued over $1,500.
