Missoula Children and Nature (MCN) invites Missoula youth and their families to Nature Art, Saturday November 19, 2011 from 1:00pm- 3:00pm. This FREE event will take place at the Zootown Arts Community Center (ZACC) located at 235 N. 1st St. W. Missoula, MT. 59802. Visit MCN's website for directions and a map.

Nature Art will provide children with the opportunity to explore the outdoors while collecting natural objects for fall art projects. To take part, bring at least five larger fallen leaves and an assortment of other natural items such as interesting pieces of wood (bark and or branches), small rocks and an array of leaves. Some of the projects
include: making leaf prints, mosaics, papermaking, nature bracelets and more! ZACC will allow MCN participants full access to their art supply room for free of charge. This FREE, family event is part of MCN's "Got Nature?" monthly passport program. Children who attend this event will receive a Got Nature? passport card stamp. Completed passport cards are redeemable for an award.

Missoula Children and Nature is a non-profit organization with over 100 members ranging from ages 0-80. Missoula Children and Nature (MCN) is a network of organizations, agencies, businesses and individuals committed to the goal of connecting youth with the natural world.
