Last COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 253 Cases, Two New Deaths

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 333,758 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 253 new confirmed cases. There are currently 321 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,671,818 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 574,737 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 235,784 doses have been administered and 78,715 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which is tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

The state COVID-19-related death toll increased from 3,710 on April 28, 2023, to 3,712 on May 5, 2023, according to state health officials.
