COVID-19 Weekly Update: Montana Adds 699 Cases, Nine New Deaths

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 331,334 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 699 new confirmed cases. There are currently 879 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,666,257 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 574,061 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 235,073 doses have been administered and 78,612 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which is tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

The state COVID-19-related death toll increased from 3,684 on March 17, 2023, to 3,693 on March 17, 2023, according to state health officials.
