This is a new one for me. We've got an Australian's take on our beautiful state of Montana with a peculiar twist. Some chap (do Australians use chap?) named Harry used Google Maps to explore Montana. He would drop the streetfinder in random Montana locations and give each town a pass or fail grade.

Here's how the journey went.

Drop 1: Hardin, Montana

He randomly dropped his avatar outside of Hardin, Montana, or as he called it, "the middle of nowhere."

"Make sure that it's not ugly, and no, surprisingly quite nice," Harry said on Hardin.

That feels like a backhanded compliment to Hardin, but Harry gave it a passing score. Congrats, Hardin.

Drop 2: Great Falls, Montana

"We're in a suburb—again, pretty nice."

I don't know what Great Falls would be a suburb of. It's the third-largest city in Montana, so unless Australians have a different definition of "suburb" than he may be off his rocker.

"This kind of reminds me of an Australian neighborhood. I don't exactly know why."

Harry gave Great Falls a passing score, but some Montanans chimed in on his Instagram page.

"I thought we were cooked at GF." - Sterling D.

"Picked one of 3 nice streets in GF." - Dallin B.

"Picked the one nice place in Great Falls lmao." - Kylie E.

Dang. Take it easy on GF, people.

Drop 4: Darby, Montana

"This is beautiful. Beautiful mountains in the background... Why is this the best location we've seen before?"

Harry gave it a passing grade.

Drop 5: Belgrade, Montana

"Why is there a Serbian town name in Montana?"

Harry gave it another passing grade.

Drop 6: Cut Bank, Montana

"Ok, the more I move into the actual town, it's definitely not great."

He did NOT give Cut Bank a passing grade.

Famous Montanans A-Z

We put together an A-Z guide of Famous Montanans. People count if they were born here, raised here, live here, went to school here, or have a substantial connection to Montana. We couldn't find an 'x' entry and we had to cheat on 'z' by using a first name. If you have any other recommendations, please let us know.
