Daisy Chain Fest Hits Missoula This Weekend

Jumping jellyfish, my friends! It's the best day of the workweek: Friday. I don't know if you've heard but Friday leads into the weekend. Do you know what happens during the weekend? Fun. A lot of fun.

What makes this weekend even more fun than your average run-of-the-mill weekend is Missoula is hosting an intimate music festival that I hadn't heard of before today.

Daisy Chain Fest 2024

Perhaps our readers are more in tune than me, but this weekend Missoula transforms into Western Montana's home of smaller, intimate concerts. Roughly 30 bands are performing on multiple stages at multiple locations in Missoula. "We at Daisy Chain Presents are very amped to announce Daisy Chain Fest, the spiritual successor to Power Strip," described by Daily Chain Presents' website. The multi-day event begins Friday at 1 pm and runs through Saturday. The venues are:

Western Cider
The ZACC
VFW
The Pink Elephant*
Noteworthy*
American Legion

I'm very intrigued by the Hip Strip Block Party and the Porch Show on Saturday. Having performers "in the neighborhood" if you will gives off great vibes. Especially when you have a setting like the Hip Strip that is known for emanating good vibes.

Tickets are available for $45 ($49.19 after service fees). One general admission ticket provides access to all show sites for both Friday and Saturday. If you're looking for only one or two events, you can pay cover charges as well.

Oh, and there's a vintage and art market filled with "dozens of local and regional makers."
