TMHT: Dijon From Missoula Humane Society Poured on the Charm
I helped carry the crate. There was a lot of heft to that little ball of fur!
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday here at the radio stations, sponsored by our animal-loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Janet from the Humane Society of Western Montana brought Dijon in for a visit, and he charmed the heck out of the staff.
Dijon is 8 weeks old and is part of a litter that came to the shelter from Havre. He is jet-black and soft - maybe some lab in there - except for his brindle paws and parts of his legs. He was very quiet during his whole visit, and only a little shy.
Janet says he seems to be the most confident one of the litter, but all of them are adorable. Dijon has already been neutered and had his vaccinations, but his siblings will have all of those things taken care of in the next few days as well.
THE LEGACY CIRCLE
Janet wanted generous animal lovers to acknowledge people who name the Humane Society of Western Montana in their will and/or estate planning, and the shelter really wants to recognize them with Legacy Circle events throughout the year to better recognize those kindhearted folks. If you have named the society as one of your beneficiaries, please contact Janet and let her know.
FUN TIMES AHEAD IN JANUARY
Some logistics need to be worked such as number of tickets and pricing, but the shelter has a benefit concert planned for January, 2025, featuring some outstanding talent from around western Montana, and maybe beyond. We will reveal more details for you during Janet's next visit on November 5.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays - Saturdays, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at 5930 Highway 93 South, Missoula. See more of the adorable animals currently waiting for their forever homes here.
