Bella From Missoula Humane Society Played No Tricks on TMHT
A black cat whose name includes "Tricks" made us do a double-take of the calendar to make sure it wasn't Halloween.
Nope, all good for January. Just a shy, sweet gal in need of a forever home.
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with our friend Janet from the Humane Society of Western Montana, sponsored by Paul's Pancake Parlor. Janet brought Bella Tricks, a beautiful yet shy long-haired black cat, who has been at the shelter a bit longer than anticipated.
She is only about two-and-a-half years old, spayed and has no health issues. And if you're looking for a two-fer, Janet says another kitty who could easily be Bella's sister just arrived at the shelter (hint hint).
POODLES AND SCHNOODLES
In a Humane Society rarity, Janet tells us that a breeder stopped breeding and relinquished a number of Schnoodles and Poodles. The Schnoodles are a giant Schnauzer/Standard Poodle mix and the the Poodles are considered the standard size for their breed.
From what they have learned about these pups in their short time at the shelter, they are very sweet but are definitely on the sensitive side and may take a little time to warm up to new people. These dogs are looking for kind and patient new homes where they can settle in and start building some confidence out in the world. Janet says they are active outdoors and low key indoors. Their learning rate is very fast. They don't shed and have been spayed or neutered.
To see all the animals waiting for adoption, give them a call at 406-549-3934 or stop in and visit the shelter during their open hours, Wednesday-Sunday from 1-6pm. The Humane Society of Western Montana is located at 5930 Highway 93 South, Missoula.
