For many people, Montana is home and always will be. No matter where they live, Montana will always be a part of them.

Over the years, we have asked our listeners questions about moving away from Montana, for example, what other states or countries would they like to live in? Many people who answered the question wouldn’t even consider moving away from Montana, even if the question was hypothetical.

Why Montanans Never Want to Leave the State

That got us thinking. If people don’t ever want to leave Montana, where would they go if they could live somewhere else in the state? So that’s the question we asked our listeners. We wanted to know what parts of the state they appreciate enough to want to live there.

Of course, this is another hypothetical. Not everyone can pick up and move wherever they want to go in Montana, but there are places we can admire.

People have their own reasons for wanting to live in a different part of their state. Some people have moved away from their hometowns and want to go back someday. Others would like to move somewhere closer to rivers or a lake, for fishing, hunting, or recreation.

If we are talking about hypotheticals, some would like to live in the most expensive parts of the state. Because if you could live there, you would have to have millions to afford it.

If You Could Live Anywhere, Where Would It Be?

So now we’ll ask you: if you could live anywhere else in Montana, where would it be? Please take a look at the answers below.

We asked our listeners if they could live somewhere else in Montana, where they would like to live. These are some of their answers.
