
Montana Costco Shoppers Are Already Seeing Halloween Decorations
Time continues to fly by, and lately it seems to be moving even faster. It feels like we were just celebrating America's 250th birthday and the Fourth of July. I'm still hearing the occasional firework going off in my neighborhood.
But now it's already time to shift gears.

I expected to start seeing the back-to-school displays. That's pretty normal this time of year with school starting in August. What I wasn't expecting was to see as much Halloween stuff as I did.

I was making a trip to Costco the other day and was kind of startled, literally and figuratively, when I saw a giant skeleton for sale. Then I noticed Halloween costumes, a Frankenstein decoration, and all kinds of spooky displays.

I know retailers seem to push every holiday a little earlier every year, but I wasn't expecting to be staring at Halloween decorations in the middle of July.

If that wasn't enough, there was even a small section with Christmas bows and ribbon already on the shelves.

So I guess that's where we are now. We go from still hearing leftover Fourth of July fireworks...to back-to-school shopping...to Halloween...and even a little Christmas, all in the same trip to Costco.
I guess I'd better start thinking about my Halloween costume.
