Sturgis has never been better for motorcyclists than it is today. Motorcycles are taking over every road within three hundred miles of here. While most of the attention (and fun) for the rally will be about the party, the bikes, and the rally itself, I believe there is another side of the motorcycle community that probably doesn’t get enough credit.

They show up for the people.

Missoula is going to be a really cool place to spend your time this weekend. On Saturday, August 15th, we're hosting Outside The Wire at the Sunrise Saloon. We'll have Tim Montana and his friends performing an acoustic benefit performance for the Legion Riders of Corvallis and their Veterans Bear Camp. That alone would be a good reason to go. However, that is just a small portion of what our local bikers are planning. GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

Helping Missoula Kids Begins At 10 A.M. on Saturday

Earlier Saturday, Missoula Bike Night will be at Young Grizzly Harley-Davidson, filling backpacks full of school supplies for some of the children in Missoula who may need a few extra things to start school.

We are talking about everything kids will need throughout a school year. Some examples include: notebooks, pencils, crayons, calculators, folders, binders, scissors, glue sticks, headphones, etc. If you have school supplies you'd like to donate, please drop them off at Young Grizzly Harley-Davidson so they can be placed into a backpack.

After Party After The Legacy Ride Comes To Town

The Legion Riders' three-day Legacy Run across Montana comes to an end in Missoula on Sunday, August 16th. The ride ends at Young Grizzly Harley-Davidson at 5 p.m., where an after-party will follow, including food trucks, cold beverages, a bar and live music from Shakedown. Willie's Distillery, The Press Box, Zip Beverage and Big Sky Brewing are among those sponsoring the event.

So yeah, the bikes are loud.

But the good they do might be even louder.
