Gunslinger Gulch Near Anaconda Offers Ghost Hunting In October

If your view of a great October includes ghosts, vampires, and walking through darkened old buildings in Montana, then Gunslinger Gulch near Anaconda should fit the bill perfectly. The 52-acre property contains a number of old historic buildings from across Southwest Montana, many of which date back to the 1800s. Through the years, Gunslinger Gulch has gained a reputation for having paranormal activity. It was even featured on TV's Travel Channel show called Ghost Town Terror.

During the month of October, Gunslinger Gulch plans on capitalizing on that reputation with several different events during the month.

Paranormal Investigation Kick Off

One of those events takes place on October 3rd at 7 PM when they host their Paranormal Investigation Kickoff Event.

At this time, attendees will be given the opportunity to use various types of equipment (including EMF detectors, spirit boxes, and night vision) to attempt to detect paranormal activity while investigating the property. The cost to attend this event will be $99 per attendee.

As someone who has conducted numerous paranormal investigations over the years, I find places such as Gunslinger Gulch very intriguing. While I may never experience anything out of the ordinary during one of these events, there is something about walking around a collection of old buildings in the middle of nowhere Montana after dark that is going to be unsettling no matter what you find.

A Vampire Murder Mystery

On October 17th, Gunslinger Gulch is taking things in a different direction when they present an Interactive Vampire Murder Mystery.

According to the event website, it appears that a combination of old bloodlines, buried secrets, and treacherous alliances, combined with a murder, will challenge attendees to piece together the mystery and figure out whodunit.

Halloween Night is Hauntana in Montana

Finally, Gunslinger Gulch has decided to save the largest paranormal event of the year until Halloween. Their "Hauntana in Montana" event will take place on Halloween Night, October 31st at 7 PM. This event provides attendees with yet another opportunity to participate in a paranormal investigation of the property using all of the same equipment and techniques used during their previous two events. Tickets are also priced at $99 per attendee.
