MPD Uncover Meth Operation During Probation Search
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On August 13, 2025, at around 12:30 PM, Missoula Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Parkview Way at the request of Probation and Parole (P&P) to assist with a residence search. Upon arrival, officers contacted the Probation Officer, who advised that a male was on felony probation and lived at the address with three other probationers.
The PO stated that the male’s girlfriend, 42-year-old Ursula Conway, had been living at the residence with the male despite being prohibited from doing so. The landlord had contacted P&P and reported that the male and Conway were using and selling dangerous drugs.
P&P responded to conduct a search of the residence, and both the male and Conway were present. While searching the male’s room, P&P located multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Conway repeatedly yelled to probation officers, claiming the paraphernalia belonged to her.

Lock Box Full of Drugs
The PO also observed a pink bag on the kitchen table containing a lock box. The PO located a key to the lock box on the male’s key chain. As the lock box was being opened, Conway stated that the contents were hers and that she would be arrested for distribution. Inside the lock box were approximately 20 small plastic baggies containing methamphetamine. At that time, P&P stopped the search and secured both Conway and the male in handcuffs.
The male admitted to the PO that he knew Conway was using and potentially dealing methamphetamine. The male said he was not using dangerous drugs and had not done so in a long time. The male said Conway asked him to keep the spare key to the lock box on his key chain in case she lost hers. He claimed he did not know what Conway was keeping in the lock box.
According to court documents, Conway said she purchased the lock box a couple of days earlier to store cash, but later used the cash she had saved to purchase a couple of grams of methamphetamine. Conway stated she divided the methamphetamine into 0.25-gram amounts per bag to sell for about $20.00 per bag. Conway stated that she was going to sell this methamphetamine to “support her habit”.
