Poverello Center Executive Director Ellie Hill announced Monday she will no longer be working there after more than five years at Missoula’s homeless shelter and soup kitchen. Poverello Board President Kate Gadbow praised Hill for her years of service to the center and the community and says this was not a surprise decision.

Gadbow says while Hill was gone for the Legislative Session Eran  Fowler, the current Operations Director, was the acting Executive  Director and will continue on with that role.

Gadbow said Hill has agreed to serve in an advisory role through the summer to ease the transition to new leadership.
