The Senate has approved legislation giving flexibility to the location of the Cowboy Hall of Fame. The 2003 legislature passed a bill designating a cowboy hall of fame in Wolf Point Montana. Senator Taylor Brown of Huntley says after years of planning and preparing, the organization may need to consider other locations.Although there currently aren't plans to move it from Wolf Point. Brown says the Montana cowboy hall of fame and the Western Heritage Center board of directors unanimously endorsed the legislation. The bill passed its second reading in the senate on a vote of 32 to 17.
