COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 862 New Cases, 11 More Deaths

As of Tuesday morning, Montana has confirmed 258,765 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 862 new confirmed cases. There are currently 4,140 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,398,512 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 553,075 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 193,560 doses have been administered and 75,763 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 251,542 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 236 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 5,540 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,600,057.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 3,072 on Monday to 3,083 on Tuesday, according to state health officials.
