As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 273,982 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 70 new confirmed cases. There are currently 534 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,454,924 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 563,288 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 201,542 doses have been administered and 77,026 people are fully immunized. 66% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 270,088 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 21 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 5,129 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,778,350.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 3,356 on Thursday to 3,360 on Friday, according to state health officials. 98 additional deaths have been reported in the past five days. According to Montana DPHHS Public Information Officer Jon Ebelt, the increased number of deaths reported this week are largely due to data reconciliation. He said they go back over many months and some are even from last year.
