Judge Ray Dayton of Anaconda has upheld a request by Missoula County and three conservation groups to stop the Kearl Module Transportation Project - and its trucking of giant oilfield equipment modules through western Montana. Campaign Coordinator for All Against The Haul, Zack Porter says they are  pleased with the judge’s ruling.

Porter says with several trucking accidents on the proposed route this is a sign to take a harder look at the transport plan.

Porter says they are still waiting on whether or not the MDT will be required to  conduct a more detailed review of the proposal.
