Unfortunately this cold front has brought some wind but it is going to be sticking around for Western Montana again through next week and hopefully providing a lot of much-needed rain.

This weekend doesn't look too bad as far as cold goes, Sunday being the warmest and Friday being the coolest.

Friday: Rain. High near 49. North northeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Saturday high near 57. Light north northeast wind.

Sunday: Patchy fog before 1pm. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 68.

Sounds like with that fog over night, Sunday morning could be our first "hard freeze".

National Weather Service : "A hard freeze will be possible this Sunday morning for much of western Montana and select high valleys of north central Idaho. Take appropriate measures Saturday evening to prevent any frost/freeze from harming sensitive vegetation."

This weather pattern can prove to really help a lot of struggling areas as far as fires and drought go in the state.
