Washout Causes Temporary Road Closure In Yellowstone Park

A road closure remains in effect in Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley between Tower Junction and the park's northeast entrance due to a high-water road washout. Park spokesperson Dan Hottle says crews are working to repair the road.

The road has been temporarily closed to all travel since late Friday evening. Hottle says they hope to have the road operating soon.
