The Western Athletic Conference is at it again.

The WAC, which refuses to yield its' expansion efforts after a couple of high-profile rejections, added another school earlier this week.
Seattle University accepted an invitation to join in 2012. The WAC announced the move Tuesday following a board of directors meeting in Park City, Utah.

The addition of Seattle on July 1, 2012, means the WAC will have nine full-time members for the 2012-13 season.

Seattle, currently an independent, will compete in the WAC in 17 sports, including men's and women's basketball.

Jon Wilner over at the San Jose Mercury News has been following this process from day one. He has more info on what lies ahead, including the fact that the University of Montana is still very much in the running for a league spot.
