You probably heard about the hostage hoax from yesterday afternoon in Missoula. Although, you probably didn't know there was a live stream video that was recording from inside the house that was occupied by the two people who were questioned in the incident. The two occupants were released by police without filing any charges. The incident took place near Maurice Avenue and South Avenue East close to the University of Montana campus.

The Missoula and UM police dispatched a dozen officers after receiving a call about a man taking two people hostage. The hoax hostage call came from gamers, who had played with the resident of Missoula and acquired her information through her Playstation 4 system. This hoax is gaining momentum lately and has been labeled as "swatting". Essentially calling in a fake problem that causes the Swat team to be deployed. Which is not funny and could result in serious injury, if the "swatters" are caught they will be facing serious criminal charges.
