The University of Montana had two seniors who made the prestigious 2011 Capital One Academic All-American Division I football team.  Bobby Alt and Bryan Waldhauser were both honored this year and Grizzlies players have been named to the team 32 times.

Bobby Alt, who is a 6-3, 240-pound defensive end from Ontario, California, keeps a 3.92 GPA in sociology.  He is 10th on the team with 47 tackles, along with being fourth on the team with 9 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

Bryan Waldhauser is a 6-4, 260-pounder from Worden, Montana.  He graduated in the spring and had a 3.62 GPA while earning his BA in business.  He is enrolled in the MBA program here at Montana.  He is Montana's 4th leading tackler with 66 tackles and 2nd with 11 tackles for loss and leads the team with 5.5 sacks.

Both Alt and Waldhauser had been named were named to the league's all-academic teams in 2009 and 2010.
