Starting this week, the high school track and field schedule really gets cooking.

For the second year in a row, the Montana High School Association will use a set of qualifying standards for Class AA's 14 teams.

The standards will be used to advance athletes to the state meet, in addition to the usual qualifiers from divisionals.

Each week, we'll keep you up-to-date on the latest qualifiers in both boys' and girls' competition. But first, a rundown of the standard marks.
