There is talk in congress of taking away tax incentives, or subsidies, depending on your definition, of the top five oil and gas companies doing business in the United States. This could have an impact on 9.3 million American workers, including those working at the two Montana oil refineries in billings, and in the Bakken oil fields, in eastern Montana. President of the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association Charles Drevna says singling out one sector of the economy for unfair tax treatment is public policy at its worst.
