New Year’s Eve held the threat of possibly being a ‘super spreader’ event for COVID 19 in Missoula, but according to the Missoula City County Health Department, there was near universal compliance with directives for the holiday.
The Montana Highway Patrol was out in force over the New Year’s Eve holiday, and there were fewer DUI’s than in years past, but there was one fatality in western Montana.
In conversations with officials from both the Missoula Police Department and Missoula County Sheriff's Office, KGVO News was told that the New Year's Eve celebration was, for the most part, quiet and well-behaved.
