After a vote by the Missoula County Commissioners this week there will be even more changes than many expected when it comes to local polling places in Missoula.
According to Missoula’s Elections Coordinator, only about 19,000 absentee ballots had been returned as of Saturday, out of over 48,000 that were mailed out.
Election Day is more than three weeks away, but some Montanans have already voted. Montana Secretary of State Linda McCulloch was in line to cast her ballot early today.
Missoula County Elections Administrator, Rebecca Connors had expected that recruiting 800 election judges would be difficult, but she is pleased to announce that their goal was achieved.
