‘State Of The Community’ Event On March 15th [AUDIO]
For the first time ever, the City, County and the University will present an event called 'The State of the Community' featuring Mayor Jon Engen, County Commission Chairman Bill Carey, and University of Montana President Royce Engstrom in a public forum-style presentation with a question and answer period from the public. The event will be Thursday night, March 15th at 7 pm in the Radio-Television/Fine Arts building on the UM Campus. In years past, The Missoula Chamber of Commerce has hosted the 'State of the City' and 'State of the County' luncheons, however, officials say the events were not well attended, and excluded the general public. I spoke with County Commissioner Bill Carey about the event on Thursday morning. That interview is attached.
