Spending Caps Will Protect Montanans

The Families USA Report, released Tuesday, found that health care spending caps will protect Montana families from catastrophic medical expenses. Co-author of the report, Kathleen Stoll says the caps on out – of- pocket spending, put in place by the Affordable Care Act, will have a beneficial impact for families in Montana.

Stoll says the spending caps don’t go into effect until 2014 so their research looks at the impacts of the caps as if they were in effect now.
