In a letter responding to the public's perception regarding the Missoula County Sheriff's Department's response to underage drinking, Sheriff's Captain Brad Giffin wrote there are several misconceptions he wanted to address. I spoke with Captain Giffin on Wednesday afternoon about the issue. That wide-ranging interview is attached.

Giffin says personal responsibility lies at the heart of preventing any illegal activity, including underage drinking.
