23 year-old Vincent Segovia and his mother, 46 year-old Nancy Butcher were both charged in Missoula Justice Court Monday afternoon with parenting interference after taking a two week-old baby from her mother's home in Missoula last week and taking the child to Kalispell.

Vincent Segovia was also charged with burglary, and both Segovia and Butcher were placed in the Missoula County jail on $100,000 bond each. After the child was taken, an alert was called by the Montana Attorney General's office alerting law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for the suspects. Segovia was apprehended without incident in Kalispell the day after the baby was taken. The baby was not harmed.
