Montana Republican Rep. Denny Rehberg's son works for a Washington D.C. lobbying firm, though the congressman says there is no conflict of interest.

Rehberg has made a point of criticizing Democratic Sen. Jon Tester's campaign money ties to lobbyists. But Rehberg has been less vocal about his son, A.J., as a vice president at GAGE.

A.J. Rehberg is not a registered lobbyist, although he is the point man for the Mongolian government's interests in Washington.

Rep. Rehberg's office says the congressman asked the House ethics committee for guidance. He was advised to establish a policy prohibiting his son from lobbying his office, and to make sure GAGE was not given extra influence.

GAGE also employs former U.S. Sen. Conrad Burns, and briefly employed former Tester employee Matt McKenna.
