On Thursday, Ravalli County Commissioners will meet again to consider a $39,000 federal grant to the Family Planning Clinic. The funds are to be used for birth control, pregnancy testing along with testing for sexually transmitted diseases. I spoke with Ravalli County Commissioner Ron Stoltz Wednesday morning. Stoltz says the commissioners want more local input as to how the funds will be spent, especially when it comes to parental notification. That interview is attached.

Stoltz was careful to say no final decision has yet been made. The meeting is Thursday at 2 pm at the County Commissioners office on the 3rd floor at 215 South 4th Street. The public is welcome and invited to attend.
