A public open house will be hosted at the end of the month to share the latest designs for the initial phase of the Milltown State Park Development.

The proposed plan will reveal recent changes to the original 2008 conceptual design plan crafted by the Milltown redevelopment working group, Missoula county and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. The design features an accessible, bike-pedestrian trail that will connect the two areas and lead to a pavilion overlooking the former dam site and restored confluence. The design will also include parking areas and a walk-in river access point and other park amenities.
The public meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the library of the Bonner School on September 28th
