Prosecution Rests in North Dakota Shooting Trial
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The prosecution has rested its case against two men accused in a fatal North Dakota shooting.
Twenty-nine-year-old Richard Whitman and 24-year-old Cody Borner have pleaded not guilty to a murder conspiracy charge in the Jan. 31 death of 22-year-old Mike Padilla in his apartment and the wounding of his 21-year-old brother, Timothy Padilla of Billings, Mont.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that the jury could get the case Wednesday.
