Prepare For Spring Flooding
Responding to a report from Missoula County Sheriff Acting Sergeant Joe McNeill, Mill Creek in Frenchtown is running extremely high. Leanne Allegretto with The National Weather Service in Missoula says smaller rivers and streams will be the first to overrun their banks due to the warm weather and high spring runoff in the mountains.
Allegretto says area rivers will be running high but the real danger of flooding will be in Northern Montana.
Allegretto says area residents living near creeks and streams should be preparing for high water.
