The FAA is investigating the emergency landing of a small plane Tuesday evening in a field off Deschamps Lane near the Missoula Airport. Missoula County Sheriff Acting Sergeant Joe McNeill says the Cessna Skyhawk with a pilot and three passengers aboard came down in the field after the landing gear sheared off nearly 500 feet of power line. McNeill says it was a miracle that one was injured and there was no discernible damage to the plane. The pilot is reportedly from Alaska.
