One Rumor About What Missoula Perkins Might Become

For those of you who might again be getting your hopes up for Olive Garden/Red Lobster in Missoula...uh, no.

One rumor we have heard - and it's just that, a rumor - is that the recently-closed Perkins Family Restaurant will remain a locally-owned food and beverage establishment. Sources have hinted that the owners of the Montana Clubs in Missoula, Kalispell, Butte, Great Falls and Billings (based in Missoula) will be pursuing the acquisition of the Perkins building for the purpose of...well, perhaps a tap house/gaming-type facility. No potential name, menu, motif, etc., was made available.

We reported some time ago that that Winco Foods supermarket chain was considering opening in the now-closed Shopko location. That rumor is still circulating, but it appears some major changes are coming soon to Reserve Street.
