New Year’s Eve Events in Missoula
If you’re looking for something fun to do this New Year’s Eve, Missoula has you covered. There is a little something for everyone. So, don’t spend your New Year’s Eve sitting at home watching Carson Daily count down the end of the year, get out and enjoy Missoula!
New Year’s Eve Montana Style – The party starts at 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula. KYSS FM and Chicks N Chaps are bringing you The Cold Hard Cash Show and contemporary cowboy cuisine, featuring a spread of more than 14 dishes and a huckleberry champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are on sale now.
First Night Missoula – This is an alcohol-free celebration of the arts. First Night features 90 performances and activities in 25 different venues downtown, on campus and at the mall. Admission is $12 per person in advance, or $15 the day of and kids 7 and under are free. The festivities start at 1 p.m. at Southgate Mall. Music around town – If you’re looking for a New Year’s party with some alcohol, then you should check out some local bars featuring some of Missoula’s best local bands. The Dark Horse is featuring the Tom Cats, the Sunrise Saloon is featuring Mark Duboise and the Crossroads and the Union Club are featuring Russ Nasset and the Revelators.
2 Mile Prediction Run – Run Wild Missoula is featuring a two-mile run that starts at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. This run takes place inside The Peak Health and Wellness Center. Before the run, you predict what your time will be. No watches or clocks are allowed. Those who come the closest to their prediction win prizes.
