At around 10:30 Thursday night, Missoula police responded to the report of a vehicle crash in the 1000 block of Stephens Avenue. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“When the officers arrived, they found that a vehicle occupied by 40-year-old Seth Woodham had collided with two parked vehicles that were unoccupied at the curb,” Welsh said. “The officers made contact with Mr. Woodham and made observations that led them to believe he was under the influence of some type of drug.”

According to Welsh, officers continued their investigation.

“At the conclusion of their investigation, not only was he under arrest for driving while intoxicated, but the officers had also discovered that he was in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of a crystalline substance that was later determined to be methamphetamine.”

This was the fourth or subsequent time Mr. Woodham had been arrested for driving under the influence. As a result, Mr. Woodham is currently being held for felony DUI, felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and reckless driving.
