Montana’s Perscription Drug Drop Boxes [interview]
The state of Montana is offering one thousand dollar grants to police departments to install special drop boxes for prescription drugs. Fourteen communities have installed the boxes so far, and more are in the works. Communications officer for the Department of Justice, John Doran, discussed the program with KGVO News.
So far, the efforts of Operation Medicine Cabinet have collected nearly two tons worth of prescription drugs.
